GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AQUATICUM WELLNESS ISLAND

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the conditions for using the massage services provided by the Service Provider.
2. Range of services
Guests can choose from more than 20 types of massage on the Wellness Island, which can be found at: www.aquaticum.hu//hu/wellness-sziget
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify or suspend the services.
3. Opening hours
The Wellness Island is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Appointments can be booked depending on available capacity.
4. Ways to book an appointment
Massages can be booked in the following ways:
• in person at the Wellness Island reception,
• by phone,
• by email,
• via the online appointment booking system.
4.1. Online booking payment terms
Massages booked via the online booking system must be paid for by credit card at the time of booking. The booking becomes final upon receipt of payment. After payment, the system will send a confirmation email about the successful purchase and the invoice.
5. Cancellation and modification conditions
5.1. Cancellation within 24 hours
In case of cancellation within 24 hours of the booked massage appointment or failure to show up at the appointment, the amount paid is non-refundable and the booked appointment cannot be modified.
5.2. Cancellation or modification more than 24 hours in advance
The Guest is entitled to modify the reservation once, which can be done by following the instructions in the confirmation email.
5.3. Exchange for a gift voucher
If the Guest is unable to use the service and the booked appointment is more than 24 hours away, the massage that has already been paid for can be exchanged for a gift voucher. In this case, the Guest must contact the Wellness reception.
5.4. Cancellation by Wellness Island
If Wellness Island is unable to provide the service, the Guest may, at their discretion, request a refund of the amount paid or a gift voucher.
6. Gift voucher terms and conditions
6.1. Purchase
• Gift vouchers can be purchased by credit card.
• After payment has been received, the purchaser will receive the voucher and payment confirmation by email.
6.2. Validity
• The gift voucher is valid for 90 days.
• The voucher cannot be used or extended beyond the 90-day validity period.
7. Use
Non-hotel guests may use the massage services they have booked and paid for as follows:
• Guests must request a wellness wristband at the Thermal Bath cash desk
• With the wristband, the Guest must pass through the turnstile next to the Thermal Bath cash desk, through the changing room, and hand in the wristband at the Wellness Island reception on the first floor
• The wellness receptionist will admit the Guest using the wristband
• The Guest uses the booked service
• Upon departure, the wellness receptionist will check the Guest out, return the wristband, and the Guest may leave the building via the same route they arrived.
Massage services for hotel guests:
• The Wellness reception can be accessed via the SPA staircase on the 2nd floor of the hotel with the wristband.
• The wristband must be handed in at the wellness reception.
• The guest uses the booked service.
• The wellness receptionist charges the used service to the wristband.
• Upon departure, the wellness receptionist returns the wristband.
8. Responsibility
Before the massage, the guest is obliged to provide the masseur with all information concerning their health condition and to fill out a health assessment form on site. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any health problems arising from illnesses not disclosed by the guest.
9. Data processing
The Service Provider shall process the personal data provided during reservations and purchases in accordance with the provisions of the privacy policy.
10. Complaint handling
In the event of a complaint, the guest may submit a report via the Service Provider's contact details. The Service Provider shall investigate all complaints and respond in writing within 30 days.
11. Final provisions
These GTC shall enter into force on the date of publication and shall remain valid until revoked. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend the GTC.
